Eco corner in Croatia

Students of the 1st elementary school in Čakovec, Croatia decorated the school corner where they organized an exhibition. The students visited grandparents, neighbors, friends... They collected old, valuable items to save them from being forgotten. They exhibited objects from the past that are made from natural materials and do not harm the environment. The students were very curious to find out what the object was for.

Code Week 2022 in Croatia

EU Code Week 2022: Croatian young students solved simple logical tasks using basic steps in programming (left - right, up - down). They programmed with the help of the Blue-Bot robot. After getting to know the robot, they practiced basic steps on a special warm-up track. Then they played the Brain Teaser game where they matched pairs and thus repeated letters, numbers up to 5, shapes and relationships more or less. On the third track, it was necessary to find a way through the Enchanted Forest with the condition that they do not knock down the tree.

Erasmus Day in Croatia!

Students of the First Elementary School Čakovec celebrated the Erasmus days by participating in numerous activities. Helena Slamek prepared laptops for her 1st and 2nd grade students, and they used the Jigsaw Puzzles app to create puzzles about healthy food in order to develop health awareness. With the help of pixel art programming and mirror mirroring instructions, teacher Maja Hižman prepared activities for 1st grade students who completed drawings of an insect, and then independently made their own drawings of ladybugs. In a series of interesting facts, students  found out that Bug is part of the world of programming connected to the project What's up mr. Bug? The students that teacher Hižman took on a short-term student exchange to Turkey prepared a "Diary of my Erasmus trip" which they presented to the students of the 4th grade. 2nd grade teacher Branka Hranjec, in cooperation with the "NOBILIS" association, organized the workshop "Where does the garb
