Çetin Şen Science and Art Center is located in in Kayseri. Kayseri is a city near the CAPPADOCİA region and the Mount Erciyes. This school is a governmental school which gives extracurricular education to talented students. Our students take some exams and IQ tests to enter the school. After they attend our school they continue their formal education at their own schools and continue our school for extra education. So, at our school we give extra activities on the subjects students are personally interested in and good at. They take 4 different periods at this school. Our students are from primary, secondary and high school. They attend at primary school and take the first stage at our school. Then, step by step they choose a special subject when they come to high school. This stage is a project stage. At the last year of high school they finish their project and graduated from ou rschool. The aim of our school is to support talented students in different fields of science to help thefuture scientists of our country. Currently we have about 750 students. We generally use non-formal training methods and especially STEM education method. With this method we give interdisciplinary education. The school is divided in different classrooms: Science room, philosophy room, maths room, music room, etc. In each room/subject the children work colaboratively in small groups towards projects and not using formal written assessment. As a school, we give a big importance to innovative projects in order to promote our staff and pupils' development and providesuccessful educational process. In order to get sustainable success in education and lead this success to an international level, we permanently make an effort to get maximum benefit of national and international funds. The participation in this project is a big chance to our school to gain knowledge of foreign languages (especially English), ICT skills, ecology experiences and develope STEAM competences. Our school can contribute to the project by sharing our knowledge gained during our Erasmus + project of a similar nature which can be used as a future reference. The key persons in the project will be the Turkish coordinator who was also responsible for the previous Erasmus + project and has had enough experiences to manage guide the project with success, the second key person will be the English teacher with practical experience of Erasmus + projects , other language and ICT teachers, headmaster of the school, school secretary and accountant. Other teachers who are not fluent in English would like to contribute in national activities. We believe they will adapt gained experience and disseminate into other colleagues .In our school there is a team of teachers who are working in unity to make sure all the objectives are met and all the activities carried out providing help and experience when needed. In case someone fails at being in charge for some reason the next person from the team will step in.
