Each of the partner schools has started a series of workshops related to the topic of our project “What's up Mr. Bug?” Despite the difficulties related to distance learning, the great biology teacher Mr. Erkan Urey managed to conduct extremely interesting classes for Turkish students. The students expanded their knowledge about the ecological footprint and created a poster on that topic, and in order to influence its reduction, they should have carried out activities that influence its reduction at school and at home. In the month of May, there were many rainy days in our region, so the students of the 2nd grade I primary school in Čakovec set up buckets in the school yard to collect rainwater, which they later used to water the plants in the school garden, in their families they used plastic bags instead canvas, they walked more, and some families replaced gasoline cars with electric cars.
